High-quality vocabulary instruction is a critical need for all students, especially English  Learners, and this presentation focuses on strategies and activities that teachers can utilize immediately in their classrooms.  The presentation is based on research and incorporates six steps of vocabulary instruction. During this session, teachers will have the opportunity to actively participate in vocabulary building activities.
